1. Lure clips, good lure clips like the Instinct pro Quick Clip do not effect the lure's actions. Lures swim as if a loop knot had been tied. The clips generally weigh less than the towing split rings that are sold with many lures.
2.  Quick Clips come in a variety of sizes. Some lures like cup-faced poppers with a small tow point may need an additional split ring to work with Quick Clips.
