Shimano Baitrunner D Spin Reel

The Shimano Baitrunner D Reel range is the best of the baitrunner collection (except for the Thunnus). The reels feature S A-RB bearings for saltwater protection and performance, and an AR-C spool for ideal casting and line release. The one-piece bail also increases the smoothness of line release too.

The body of the Baitrunner D series is aluminium, which along with the one-piece bail is the main difference between the D model and the OC model, it's stronger and more sturdy. The 4000 and 6000 sizes cater ideally for those wishing to float an unweighted pillie or squid bait down a berley trail intended for species such as Snapper and the like. The 8000 and 12000 sizes open up options to anglers such as saltwater casting and bait fishing for a variety of pelagic and reef species offshore.
